Milan Babík grew up next door to Soviet barracks in Šumperk, Czechoslovakia, and was educated at Colby College, London School of Economics, and University of Oxford, where he received a D.Phil. in International Relations in 2009. He has written several books and articles on foreign policy, international affairs, political religions, and narrative theory and has taught at Williams and Dartmouth. He currently lectures at Colby, where he has introduced new study abroad programs in Prague and Salzburg and often organizes conferences related to Central Europe and the Czech Republic.
